MORE SAFETY WITH OUR BAT BREAKER
On the DC side of a photovoltaic system, fuse holders are responsible for protecting against reverse feeds from intact strings into defective strings and against reverse feeds from the AC side in the event of an inverter defect. The “BAT BREAKER” series of battery fuses was developed to protect mobile and stationary battery storage systems of various technologies (lead, lithium…) against overcurrent and short circuits and are indispensable components for a safe and efficient power system.
The voltage limits for direct current operation are 75V DC for the system voltage. The specially matched nominal values of the circuit breakers used offer optimum reliability and availability.
The enwitec BAT Breaker is much more compact in design and less expensive than comparable NH fuse disconnectors. In contrast to the previously available battery fuses, the enwitec BAT Breaker can be operated without protective equipment, which is particularly important as most energy storage systems are installed in private households.
